Flynn Creek Anagama

This past month Jessie and I participated in an anagama firing at Flynn Creek Pottery with Nick Schwartz and his wife Jessica Thompson. We fired for 7 days, raising and dropping the temperature to develop surface and deposit ash. We began the firing with digger pine and introduced blue oak and uncured apple wood. I was very pleased with the whole experience, and couldn't be happier with the results.
