Residency at Guldagergaard

I arrived at Guldagergaard 2 weeks ago and have been settling into a new cycle of making. There is so much to draw from - new trees, sounds, smells, and quality of light. At the same time, much remains familiar. The town of Skaelskor is surrounding by sprawling farmland, many of which grow barley. I'm inspired to look at these fields as documents of the wind - as each stalk records the presence of even the slightest wind gust.

The group of pre-conference residents will be firing several kilns this month along with the Guldagergaard staff and friends. I will be posting photos of these firings, as well as progressions of new work.
