Arrival in Mendocino, California

On Monday we emerged to this sight after passing through the redwood studded hills of Northern California. After a week of traveling through new terrain and geology, we quite abruptly ran into the edge of the country - Nothing beyond but the limitless ocean meeting with the sky at a blurred horizon.

Jessie and I are now settling into our residency at the Mendocino Art Center. I'm trilled to begin working with new clays, kilns, and people under the influence of a new landscape.
